A FREE Trip To The Marlboro Ranch!!

Quite a few years ago, I signed up HERE to join the Marlboro Mailing List. My brother and my nephew both smoke, and I was trying to help them out by finding coupons for them. I never really thought anything about it, and passed along the coupons when they were sent to me. Every year, I would get a present around my birthday......an ashtray, a lighter, a grilling cookbook, etc....Last year, I received an invitation to the Mid-Ohio Raceway. My fiance and I got to travel to central Ohio and watch the Cart Races. Marlboro Team Penske picked up the bill for everything. We got tickets, backpacks, cameras, hats, etc.... That was pretty cool!
About two weeks ago, I received a huge envelope from Marlboro, with an invitation inside. It was telling me that I had won an all expenses paid, trip for two to the Marlboro Ranch in Montana. I instantly thought, what's the catch? And, after some encouragement from my fiance, I called the reservation number. The operator that I spoke with was just the nicest lady ever! She assured me that there was no catch! I actually won a FREE trip! She verified all of my information, and went over a little bit about the trip for me. I will receive two round-trip airfare tickets, 4 days and 3 nights at the Ranch, all meals, drinks, entertainment, and excursions are paid for. There will also be a check for $1,250.00. I almost fell over! The only things I have ever won were concert tickets from the radio! Now, a trip? Come on!
On Friday, there was a Fed-Ex delivery for me. It was all of the paperwork that I had to fill out. One section for me, and one section for my guest. My fiance, who has got to be one of the most giving people on the planet, has given up his ticket. He told me he would like me to take my Dad with me instead. My Dad is a true Wild West Guy! He grew up in West Virginia, and used to tame wild horses. His favorite show, to this day, is Gunsmoke! This would be the trip of a lifetime for him! My Dad retired 2 years ago, and had wanted to travel West. My parents have not had a chance to take a vacation like that, since my Mom is a full time care-taker for my handicapped brother. We went to visit my parents, and my Dad agreed to go with me. **Huge step for him, by the way!
We have to get the paperwork notarized, and return it by April 9th, or I forfeit my trip. I am really looking forward to this time away with my Dad. It is looking like we will be going horseback riding, zip-lining, mountain biking, and taking a trip to Yellowstone. Awesome!
I will keep you updated as I learn more information.
