Walgreens Paid Me $1.51 To Buy All Of This!

The first transaction, I bought the Bayer Contour Glucose Meter (for donation) and Ecotrin aspirin. I used a Bayer coupon from the Sunday Inserts to score the glucose meter for FREE, and I used a printable Ecotrin Coupon from HERE to score the Ecotrin for FREE. My coupon savings were more than my total, so I had to grab a filler item, hence the Snickers Bar! Summary: Glucose Meter $14.99 (less $14.99 coupon), Ecotrin on sale for $2.00 (less $2.25 coupon, and a Snickers Bar for $.50. Total, plus tax, was $.41!!!!
It only gets better! After my receipt came out, I received a $5.00 Register Reward for "buying" the Glucose Meter, and a $2.00 Register Reward for "buying" the Ecotrin!
Tom was in line behind me with the Spaghetti and the Sauce....we wanted something easy for dinner tonight! The total for his transaction was $5.08, so I let him have the $5.00 register Reward that I wad just earned, and paid the $.08.
So, out of pocket today I spent $.49. I still have a $2.00 Register Reward in my wallet from the Ecotrin. So I ended up "making" $1.51 for making a trip to Walgreens! YAY!!
